it's called trial, error, and LOADS of research. 

Did you know that it takes up to 36 months to feed these gentle giants? Our Wagyu know when it's dinnertime as they're fed a specialized recipe of locally sourced grain. Genetics are incredibly important to our herd & timing is key.

    2 Make Your Selection

    Grab all the required goodies for your next BBQ or family dinner & add them to your cart. The pricing will be estimated based on weight.

    3 Select a Pick-up Location

    You're always available to stop by the farm. We do deliver locally for small fee. We'll also have additional pick-up locations throughout the year.

    Ordering 1/4, 1/2 or a Full Beef

    1 Decide & Deposit

    Head to the "Shop" & buy by the cut...or...Decide on a 1/4, 1/2 or full beef. Pre-Order with your deposit. Place your order through the "Shop".

    2 To the Butcher We Go

    We deliver the beef to Krehbiels Specialty Meats in McPherson, KS. We really like these folks!

    3 Weigh In

    Once the hanging weight (aka carcass weight) is determined, we'll send you an invoice to be paid to Scorched Stone Farm

    4 Wait for the Call

    Expect a phone call from Krehbiels Specialty Meats. They'll assist you in deciding how you would like your beef cut. Don't worry. . . they'll walk you through it.

    5 Ready in 4-5 Weeks

    Your beef will be ready for pick up about 4-5 weeks after butchering. You'll receive a phone call when it's ready to bring home.

    6 Take Home & Eat

    Pick up your beef at Krehbiels Specialty Meats, pay the processing fee at pick up, & go home to stock your freezer.

    Our Suggestions. . . 

    • If ordering a 1/4, 1/2, or Full Beef, check with Krehbiels Specialty Meats to determine an estimate on how many packages of beef you will take home. 
    • Ensure you have enough freezer space for your purchase. 
    • We encourage you to bring coolers to pick up your meat.
